Zen etimology is attention before meditation.
So is not important (as Buddha say) what you do exactly, which position, how many breathing you do, in which place you do meditation… the essential is the attention you give to this eternal everchanging present.
So if you are walking on the street, and you are awake, and in a full feeling of awareness, and you are looking with open eyes, mind and heart to the whole universe. If you are capable to see the feelings of yourself and other living creatures and human beings with detachment and compassion all with a true and sincere feeling of love, all with a great attention to the “present”, you are the awakened, you are walking on the right path.
This is what i consider more of all, a true meditation.

2012 prophecies of doom and gloom abound, but I am more optimistic. Rather than signalling the end of the world, might we not be witnessing the end of an era of negativity and the beginning of a new era of justice, liberty & equality? Let us not just hope so, but individually work to make it so.

In this book Stephen Hawking reveals the motivation behind the attempt to get closer and closer to the physics at the time of the big bang. To draw the precise conclusion that this article mentions. The determinist theory of how the universe began, even were it accurate, would point to something outside the universe to provide the initial conditions. Knowledge is always relative, never absolute, and only earthly idols can temporarily convince people otherwise with the intimidating fruits of a lifetime of scientific study. Such focused life-time study requires a dogmatic motivation, so that Stephen Hawking should choose now to make claims of this kind, to try and secure his legacy as a social idol does not surprise me at all.

With interest I read your article on the seven steps to intuition. I found the article relates greatly to a book I have recently published titled, “The God Code in the Seven” in which I have researched, explained and linked a number of topics which occur in mutiples of seven in our lives.
I work as a spiritual teacher, workshop designer and presenter and spiritual church guest speaker and psychic demonstrator in Australia.

We are here and there is there, and no one here can ever know for sure what is there. But the overwhelming mass of evidence teaches us that something is there, even if we cannot comprehend its precise nature. And pure common sense teaches that going there is no more than returning to where we came came from, ie going home.
